Using specialized software, we at Walt 3D can take your idea and relay information into our drawing software, this process is know as Computer Aided Design (CAD). Designing these objects on the computer allows us to be extremely precise, make changes on the fly and best of all make it possible to take your idea and turn it into a one off prototype or a mass produced product. Computer aided design and 3D printing go hand and hand together. Once a design is made it is very easy to then 3D print the prototype, test it, then bring the product/idea to manufacturing. Developing ideas, prototyping them and mass producing them have never been so easy. To continue, choosing CAD to model you part digitally opens the doors to possibility as well as a handful of ways to test and analyze parts, pieces and models. Below are examples of parts that we have designed to meet clients needs and expectations.
Below is a simple part designed to fit a clients needs. There was a total of 3 different sizes of this piece. It was designed to fit a special application and is in the process of being mass produced.
Below is a simple two piece assembly drawing of a piece designed to fit a scientific application. Due to restriction we can not go into further detail about projects. Client confidentiality is also a big part of Walt 3D's business standards.
